Vintage U.S. Navy Staff Corps Lieutenant Shoulder Boards Pair by Nudelman Brothers & Hilborn-Hamburger

A matched pair of vintage U.S. Navy staff corps shoulder boards featuring two gold bullion rank stripes denoting the rank of Lieutenant and embroidered staff corps devices on dark navy wool backing. The reverse retains desirable period maker markings from Nudelman Brothers Uniforms of Seattle & Portland and Hilborn-Hamburger, Inc. of New York, with “Water Repellent Navy Standard” stamping still visible. The exact staff corps specialty has not been identified and is offered as found. These shoulder boards remain in very good vintage condition with light handling and storage wear, making them an excellent addition to a naval uniform display, aviation collection, or insignia reference collection.
