These are almost 5 inches tall by 4 inches wide and 1.5 inches thick. Holds about 5 M1 clips or two hand grenades. The airborne forces put four or so of these guys on their web belts, or on the back side of their cartridge belts to add more capacity for ammo and ordnance. New Scoville brand Lift-the-Dot fasteners just like the originals too. They are incredibly tough, made with a mix of high-quality reproduction canvas (for the main body front and sides) and original WWII era khaki 4.5″ webbing for the top flap and back. Sewn with heavy weight khaki thread and reinforced in all the places you tug and pull. The straps on the back are also original military webbing, but dark OD, made in the 1960s. This webbing is the same on paratrooper helmets for the A-yokes to hold on the chin strap to the liner. If you are using these in a WWII reenactment you’ll be fine for any time period, the OD straps don’t show. Great value for a pretty handy and necessary piece of gear.
