M1956 Entrenching Tool (E-Tool) Cover 1964

Vietnam-era M1956 Entrenching Tool (E-Tool) Cover, pretty sure I can read the 1964 on the back. Made of olive drab cotton canvas with reinforced stitching, metal belt clips for attachment to the M1956 Load-Carrying Equipment (LCE) belt, and leather reinforcement strip under the flap. Designed to hold the standard folding entrenching tool used by U.S. forces during the Vietnam War. “U.S.” marking is visible on the front. Snap on the main flap is dented but still works. Overall in solid, serviceable condition with general wear from use.
