Korean War Era U.S. Army Combat Trousers – 1953 Dated – Size X-Large – Unissued Condition

$125.00

Original U.S. Army combat trousers from the Korean War period, clearly dated April 24, 1953 and manufactured by Stein-Way Clothing Co. These are a textbook example of early 1950s field trousers, produced just months before the end of the Korean War and built to the same rugged standards carried forward from late WWII designs. The tag is well preserved and fully legible, showing size X-Large with a waist range of 39 to 43 inches and inseam over 32 1/2 inches. The stock number and specification markings are still crisp, including Spec. MIL-T-2067B, Type II, with a pattern date of December 11, 1952. All of this places the trousers firmly in that transitional early Cold War production window where wartime design met postwar refinement. Condition is exceptional. These appear to be unissued, with no signs of wear, field use, or laundering. Fabric retains its original structure and color, hardware is intact, and stitching is clean throughout. Pocket flaps, buttons, and cargo pockets are all present and solid. This is about as close as you get to depot-fresh condition on a piece like this. The cut and layout are classic for the period, with cargo pockets on the thighs and a functional, no-frills design intended for field durability. These pair well with Korean War impressions and also transition easily into early Vietnam-era portrayals depending on the rest of the kit. A strong piece for collectors, but especially valuable for reenactors or living history setups where condition and authenticity matter. Finding a 1953-dated pair in this kind of untouched state is not common.
