Chinese Communist PLA Style Wool Visor Cap Red Star Beijing Tongsheng 59cm (7-1/2)

Chinese-made dark blue wool military-style visor cap manufactured by the Beijing Tongsheng Hat Factory. The cap is marked size 59 CM and features a large dimensional red metal five-pointed star mounted prominently on the front. Nicely constructed with a full interior lining and sweatband, and considerably better quality than the typical lightweight costume cap. This example is used but remains very clean and in very good overall condition. Exact age is unknown, and we have not been able to confirm that this was an actual Chinese military-issued cap, so it is being offered as a Chinese military/Communist-style cap or souvenir piece. A great display piece, conversation starter, costume cap, or addition to a Cold War or Communist-era collection. Put it on and you can be the big star on your block.
