Vintage 1960s Han-Kraft Fly-Weight Yachtsman Wool Visor Cap with Bullion Maritime Insignia, Size 7

$35.00

Vintage Han-Kraft “Fly-Weight” maritime or yachtsman uniform cap, likely dating from around the 1960s. Made of dark navy blue wool, the cap features a black vinyl visor, black braided chin cord with nautical buttons, and an attractive hand-worked gold bullion maritime insignia on the front. Han-Kraft produced quality commercial uniform headwear for yachtsmen, boat crews, captains, and other maritime organizations. This is NOT being represented as U.S. Navy issue. The interior retains its gold Han-Kraft Uniform Headwear “Fly-Weight” liner and is marked size 7. The sweatband shows relatively little wear, while the exterior has a few small moth nicks, light dust, minor surface wear, and noticeable scuffing to the visor from age and storage. Overall, it remains a very presentable vintage cap with excellent display character, well suited for maritime collections, vintage boating displays, nautical décor, theater, reenacting, or period costume use.
