This is a MOLLE II I.V. Bandoleer, manufactured by Specialty Defense Systems—a division of Specialty Plastic Products of Pennsylvania. Though originally designated for carrying intravenous fluid bags, this pouch was quickly adopted in the field for more practical applications, particularly for storing three 30-round M16/M4 magazines or similar-sized items. The example shown is in Woodland camouflage, with materials and construction style consistent with 2001 production. It features a reinforced stitched design, tie-down closures, and an adjustable strap for shoulder carry or integration with rucksacks or vests.
This piece reflects the transitional period of early Global War on Terror load-bearing gear. It was widely used in both medical and general infantry roles, and continues to be a favored utility item for surplus collectors, reenactors, and practical field setups. The label is intact and clear, and the pouch is in very good condition with light signs of service wear.
