Map of Paris, Red Cross, 1944-1945

$35.00

Red Cross Map of Paris, France. These maps were given out to soldiers and sailors who were on leave in Paris by the Red Cross. The map is printed on the back of a German topographical map, this one of somewhere in Spain. The Red Cross re-purposed the paper, being scarce during war-time, and so you can find these maps with all sorts of stuff on the back. Very cool original vintage tourist map, published in what I believe was Jan 1945, but using a 1944 map of Paris. It highlights the best spots, and all sorts of info a G.I. would need getting around the city. Very cool original WWII item.
