Steel G.I. fork. Original military, vintage, WWII. Great original piece! This one has the remnants of the original soldier’s number stamped on it. It’s steel, with a little corrosion from age, but you can polish it up nicely, no major rust. This one is definitely a World War II original, and once you get it spiffed up it’s going to be a great piece to add to the original pan and kit you are already collecting. Or you could just set it on a shelf in a museum, and never let it dig into saucy army-style mushed potatoes, or a hard crispy dish of shit-on-a-shingle. Gosh, to think it will never be in someone’s mouth ever again… wait, ok, that’s gross. Sorry.
