Entrenching Tool, Swiss, Dated 1940

Swiss army shovel. Dated 1940, decent condition, all working order. Still has dirt on it, however I highly doubt it’s Swiss dirt, at least it doesn’t smell Alpy to me… If the dirt isn’t Swill, I’ll bet the cow who made the cover was though. Probably toured the countryside with a big bell around it’s neck. A great vintage piece of WWII history nonetheless. Crap, so sorry to use words like “nonetheless”. I’ll try to avoid that in the future.
