The contract number DSA-1-2157-63-C confirms a 1963 production date, placing it in the early period of U.S. involvement in Vietnam. This example is the classic OG-107 (Olive Green shade 107) cotton sateen shell, designed as an outer garment in cold-wet or mild climates, often worn with a button-in liner (not included).
