This is a 1945-dated U.S. Army canteen cup manufactured by Foley Mfg. Co. It’s an original World War II issue piece with the correct folding wire handle design, pressed stainless steel body, and visible wartime contract markings. These were carried in the field alongside the M-1910 and M-1942 canteens, and used for heating water, making coffee, or eating chow in the field.
