Vintage Polaroid Neutral Light-Polarizing Filter Set

$35.00

Vintage Polaroid Neutral Light-Polarizing Filter Set, likely from the 1940s or early 1950s, manufactured by Polaroid Corporation for Pioneer Scientific Corp. The set includes multiple polarizing filters stored in a brown leather case, with two slots empty, suggesting it is not complete. These filters were designed to reduce glare, improve contrast, and enhance clarity in photographs, particularly for sky and landscape photography. The case is decent, little splitting along the flap edge, but overall pretty good shape. Has belt loops, those have never been used. 8 lenses total in the set. Don’t ask me what type of camera these fit, I didn’t even know they were lenses or filters until I looked ’em up. Say cheese!

Polaroid’s early polarizing technology was widely used in scientific, military, and photographic applications, making this set an excellent collector’s item for vintage camera enthusiasts or photography historians.
