Vietnam War XM202 66mm Four Tube Rocket Launcher Technical Manual TM 3-1055-218-12

This is an original U.S. Army Operator’s and Organizational Maintenance Manual, TM 3-1055-218-12, covering the Launcher, Rocket: 66-MM, 4-Tube, XM202. The manual was originally issued October 22, 1969, and this example includes Change No. 2 dated December 3, 1970. A particularly interesting Vietnam War era weapons manual, it covers operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, ammunition, authorized rounds, packing, storage, and related procedures for the experimental XM202 four-tube rocket launcher. Detailed technical illustrations show both the launcher and its 66mm rocket ammunition. This is a relatively thin manual, approximately 20 pages as currently assembled. It is three-hole punched with additional binder holes and staples along the left edge. Condition shows age, staining, edge wear, and some deterioration around the edges as shown in the photographs. An unusual original Vietnam era technical publication dealing with one of the more distinctive U.S. shoulder-fired weapon systems of the period.
