USGI nylon barracks bag with backpack-style straps

USGI nylon barracks bag with backpack-style straps, olive drab in color. All grommets and the snap hook closure are intact, and the bag remains serviceable despite field use. There is fraying along the edges of the interior flap, though this flap is hidden once the bag is closed. These nylon versions replaced the earlier cotton canvas types by the late 1970s and continued in service through the 1980s and 1990s. A solid Cold War era example for collectors, reenactors, living history setups, or use as a studio prop. I’m guessing on the date on this one, there is no tag. Probably turn of the century, late 1990s perhaps.
