U.S. military compass pouch

This is an original U.S. military compass pouch, made from sturdy olive drab nylon with a single lift-the-dot style snap closure on the front and an ALICE clip on the back for attachment to belts, suspenders, or rucksacks. This style was standard issue from the Vietnam era through the late Cold War and beyond. The pouch is used, with some wear from service, but still in solid shape and fully functional. No visible tags or date markings remain. A great addition to any field gear setup, whether for reenactors, collectors, or outfitting mannequins and displays. Also works well for practical field use to carry compasses, small tools, or survival items.
