Original U.S. Army Vietnam-era poncho, dated December 16, 1964, produced by General Textile Fabrics, Inc. Early coated nylon example with strong, readable contract markings. Material remains supple with no major cracking, grommets and snaps intact, and no obvious field repairs or damage. A solid early-war piece that displays well and is still fully usable. It’s got plenty of wrinkles, but no cracks, the fabric and coating are very soft and supply. It’s a pretty nice poncho. Don’t go wearing it outside on a whim, this is an hard to find piece of militaria.
