1983 Alaska Wildlife Commemorative Belt Buckle Siskiyou Limited Edition Moose 914/2500

This original 1983 Alaska Wildlife commemorative belt buckle by Siskiyou Buckle Co. is the first issue in a yearly series celebrating the wildlife of Alaska, featuring a detailed raised scene of a moose in a mountain and river setting with “Alaska Wildlife” across the top and “1983 commemorating” below; the reverse retains the original descriptive plaque, Siskiyou Buckle Co. Williams, Oregon marking, and the cast logo, and is individually numbered 914 of 2500, making it a true limited edition piece from the early run; buckle is in solid vintage condition with light handling wear consistent with age but no damage, and would display well or fit nicely into a Western buckle or wildlife collection. My dad bought this on a trip to Alaska, and he never wore it. Stayed in the little green bag it’s sitting on in the picture. So I know it’s legit, and it’s cool, but not for me. I hope it finds a collector who will be it’s caretaker for a few more decades.
