WWII US Army Garrison Cap – Red Piping (Coast Artillery), Size 7 1/4, Near Mint

Original World War II U.S. Army garrison cap with red piping, consistent with Coast Artillery branch, and marked in pencil on the interior tag. This is a standout example, essentially mint and likely unissued, with crisp 100% wool construction and an interior liner that still has its original sheen. Size is clearly marked 7 1/4. There is a small period price tag still present, adding to the untouched feel of the piece. The only flaw is a single small moth nip near the front edge, minor and hard to notice unless you are looking for it. No other damage, no wear, no staining. This is the kind of cap that displays extremely well, whether on a mannequin, in a collection, or even carefully worn for living history. Hard to upgrade from this condition.
