WWII U.S. Army Enlisted Garrison Cap with Ordnance Piping 6-1/2 Unissued!

Original WWII U.S. Army enlisted garrison cap with ordnance branch piping, size 6 1/2, in exceptionally well preserved condition and appearing to be unissued. The wool body remains crisp with sharp creasing, the leather sweatband is firm, and the silk liner is clean and intact, showing none of the typical wear normally found on wartime caps. Colors remain strong and the cap retains excellent structure, making it ideal for display, reenacting, or completing a WWII ordnance uniform grouping. There is one very small moth hole on the left front side near the piping that is difficult to notice and largely hidden when displayed. Overall a very sharp original WWII example that has clearly seen little to no use.
