Gas Brassard – Fabric SECONDS

Used in WWII to detect and indicate deadly gases, the Fabric Gas Brassard will today provide you with the same… cool looks.  Unless someone in your unit has too many tacos for lunch, you are in no danger of poisonous gases in the field, so we took that part out and instead just kept the design and color perfect for completing your D-Day impression.  The original Gas Brassards were made of paper, so if you want the “correct” look, get that one.  If you want to do D-Day events over and over and over and save money… This one will look correct and it’s built to last! THIS LISTING IS FOR BLEMISHED brassards. These have paint issues, or sewing issues. The paint is complete, but there are spots on these where a second coat of paint or the lack of a second coat changed the color or texture a little bit. If you are not picky, these will work great at a reenactment or living history display, and after breaking them in, would hardly be noticeable. Trust me, these are the ones I’ve been using for every D-Day event in my reenacting career. They look fine, especially in a “combat” role. If you are doing a static display, or want a museum quality one, see the other listing. But if you are using it in the field, save a few bucks on something that will last a very long time. All are marked as “seconds” with an X or an S- All have the period-correct MFG stamp.
