Double Edged Razor, Vintage, Gillette 1920s

Vintage Gillette Double Edged Shaving Razor. Has “Gillette” stamped on the inside of the blade base under the razor face. This one is older than some of the ones in my collection, the notched blade guard is the tell. Also that it has a Jan 1920 patient date on the handle! No blades come with the razor, but you can find blades for this type at most drug stores still. This razor has been used and cleaned a few times, the gold patina is off and the copper color is strong on the face. The shaft could use some polishing, but the razor is in great working order.
