Distributor Cap, Vintage Auto Part w/ Box

Vintage auto part.  No specific information except what you see.  Looks used, but I can’t offer any idea on how used, or if it’s something that can be used.  Maybe it’s to worn, but from my limited experience looks like it was saved for a reason.  Found in a lot of militaria we bought, maybe some car fanatic can make it work.  Anyway, cool vintage part, with the box, pretty cool for display too.  Also great on a movie set.
