Baton / Club – Student Lathe Project

This creative piece of wood is a practice piece one of my students made using the lathe at the high school.  He modeled it after a WWII MP baton, but it’s dimensions are not quite right for that.  It’s BIGGER all around, makes an incredible self-defense stick, or an awesome fish club.  Little over 2″ across the middle, 22″ long, weighs about a pound.  If you are in the need of a solid stick like this, help a kid out!  Proceeds go directly to my student who will use the money to make other class projects.
